Recap of the 51st Annual Greater American Coin Fair

Another year has passed and another great three-day coin show is in the books. The St. Louis Numismatic Association’s 51st Annual Greater America Coin Fair that was held at the Airport Hilton in St. Louis February 6th, 7th, and 8th was another successful show. Weather has proved not to affect the attendance of this show with temperatures ranging from a blustery 18 degrees on Thursday to a beautiful sunny 72 degrees on Saturday. The 110 table bourse floor was sold out and an additional 75 dealers roamed the bourse floor after early bird registration. The room was filled with over 1100 collectors during the three day event. Dealers from across the country were present with a great selection of both raw and certified coins and currency available for sale both for the advanced collector as well as the novice. Books and supplies were also available.

This winter show; sponsored by the St. Louis Numismatic Association each February, again and again proves to be one of the most successful coin shows in the area. If you were unable to attend this year’s show, please make plans to attend next year’s as it promises to be another great event.
